A compact flow meter adopting a rotary piston system. Water has low lubricity and viscosity, and tilting of the rotor causing resistance and increased leakage had been an issue. A special eccentric bearing with a U-shaped groove suppresses rotor tilt. Because the bearing receives load across its surface, product life is also improved. APS300M, a PPS material, is used for the rotor and bearing materials to enhance sliding performance and wear resistance. After a 3000-hour continuous durability test, accuracy change and wear amount remained small, enabling a 1-year quality guarantee. Launched to the market in April 2022.
